About Mid-mo Norml
Founded in November 2014, Mid-Missouri NORML is an umbrella group for cannabis activists living between Kansas City and St. Louis. This group was approved by the National NORML board in early December 2014. Until this chapter was created, the only group aimed at reforming marijuana laws available to Mid-Missourians was MU NORML — a student chapter at the University of Missouri. Mid-Missouri NORML is proud to work together with the students of MU NORML but also provides an outlet to people of all ages who don’t attend the university. Our goal is to raise awareness of Missouri’s unjust cannabis laws, educate the public about cannabis — a wonderful plant many have been taught to fear — keep people up-to-date on the latest drug policy reform news and teach people how they can help legalize cannabis in Missouri.

Help the Cause
When you join Mid-Missouri NORML you are becoming a member of an organization dedicated to educating the public about the current state of cannabis policy as well as working toward reforming local and state cannabis laws. Perhaps more importantly though, you are exercising your constitutional rights of free speech and assembly. There has never been a more important time to be involved, active and engaged in the history of the cannabis reform movement. Now is the time to let our elected officials hear our calls to end prohibition.
Take part in democracy! Drive down to Jefferson City tomorrow and join NORML for a day of lobbying at the Missouri State Capitol Building. This is a great time to have a conversation about ending cannabis prohibition with the men and women elected to represent us, or to thank the ones who’ve been fighting alongside us. We’ll be…
We live in the midst of a civil war. It’s called the War on Drugs, and it’s been tearing families apart since a Warner Brothers actor was elected president. Recognize the name Jeff Mizanskey? He was a non-violent offender doomed to die in prison after his third marijuana conviction. But when his son, Chris, showed up at one…
Let me guess. Your New Year’s resolutions included getting more involved in the community, meeting new people and trying new things? Perfect! Mid-Missouri NORML has ample opportunities for you. “This is the most important year in marijuana law reform in the history of our state,” Dan Viets said at the New Approach Missouri fundraiser last night…
